With the endless supply of diet tips to lose weight, you have probably spent a lot of time, money, and energy in pursuit of the right diet.
And this resulted in what?
Here you are with me, still searching for the right solution…
Don’t diet.
Eating healthy does not mean going hungry throughout the day. Just eating fewer calories, including protein with your meals, and eating at regular intervals is the best way to lose the weight.
I repeat... Don't diet.
Dieting is the worst way to lose weight and successfully keep it off.
Dieting is a commercial weight loss trap that makes fools of us all.
Dieting will make you hateful to be with!
Pretty strong words, hmmm?
Well here’s the thing: It is practically impossible to put extreme and restrictive limits on the food you eat on a long term basis. Your health will suffer.
And you will go stir crazy.
You can follow the following 'don't' diet tips and eat healthily, lose weight, and feel great without going hungry. This can be accomplished by MODIFYING your food intake with portion control and lowering the amounts of fat and sugar that you consume. You can also accomplish this by exercising frequently and making healthier food choices.
Eat your fruits and veggies.
Get the scoop on what doesn’t work:
1. When you are dieting you are creating an effect that actually makes your body hold on to fat. The body doesn’t know when its next meal is coming and begins to store fat for survival instead of burning fat.
2. Dieting slows your metabolism enabling you to survive on less food and then you will probably end up heavier than before when you resume your previous poor eating habits. Remember the stored fat we just discussed?
3. Dieting and not eating healthy prevents you from getting the recommended amounts of vitamins and mineral for a healthy body. Your immune system can suffer and you’ll be more prone to colds and the like.
4. While you are dieting you may have some weight loss but, the dieting causes you to lose valuable muscle tissue and you will be flabby. A ‘Diva’ body should be firm and strong looking!
5. Dieting wrecks havoc on your digestive system and it will begin to function poorly. Sluggish elimination of waste and toxic backup in the intestines is an effect of dieting.
6. Dieting depletes essential nutrients from your body such as calcium for your bones, the B vitamins for many body cells and their functions, electrolytes for your nervous and circulatory system, to give you just the short list.
7. Eating too little during the day saps your energy. The diet will prevent you from getting enough ‘fuel’ to keep you going throughout your busy and hectic schedule.
8. A mindset for dieting is an insane and financially wasteful proposition to achieve your desired weight loss. How much more money are you going blow on the quick fix powders, pills, potions and lotions (yes, there are lotion claims!) to get the body you can only get by exercising and eating correctly?
9. Dieting will not help you establish a plan for a lifestyle of healthy eating. You will enjoy more success when you learn how to control your portions and make healthier food choices.
10. Dieting will make you super cranky and difficult to be with. Your poor stomach is growling, you are snarling, all kinds of hell will be breaking loose and the truth will be that ‘You’ is the problem. You’ll create a gaggle of ‘Diva-haters’.
Go eat something, girl!!
