If you are still making exercise excuses and you are on the fence about starting a resistance training program, it may motivate you to know that lifting weights can also:
1. Increase your bone density so that the bones are stronger and can resist fractures from poor bone health or accidents.
2. Improve the immune system, enabling you to have fewer incidences of illness or less severe responses to those nasty viruses, bugs, or injuries.
3. Decrease or reverse the effects of aging so that you look and feel youthful and, oh, so fine.
4. Elevate your mood and increase your confidence because your 'Diva-entity' cannot exist with depression and low self esteem.
Imagine having a better quality of life with more strength and energy to clean, do laundry, run errands, dance, play, and love. You are more independent and self-sufficient. You are more capable of accomplishing the various goals that you’ve set for yourself.
So, come on, get off the couch.
No more excuses!
It is time to get motivated to begin your resistance training program and end the
exercise excuses
for good. It is time to put a chisel to your shape and change your 'fluff to stuff'.
