Pursuit of Good Health and Fitness

The pursuit of good health and physical fitness is an on-going quest. You may have been on the “journey” for several years. There were times when you have “strayed” off the path for any number of reasons. No matter what the reason, it is important to get back on track for yourself.

This is a “solo” competition.

Do not give up; you know the benefits it brings. Though there are times when we all can get discouraged, it is important to acknowledge those times and continue on the journey. Exercise itself is an antidepressant.

All the moves, steps, crunches, weight lifts may be part of your routine, but a “refresher” with an instructor/trainer is always helpful. The re-evaluation can correct any bad training habits you developed over the years. New fitness programs/exercises that trainers have to offer put some “pizzazz” back into your work-outs.

Diet and exercise go hand and hand. If you do not see results, you need to examine your routine and your eating habits. Then do some “tweaking”. With some minor adjustments, you can be back on track.

It is a journey – the destination is what you want it to be. When you get there, congratulate yourself; the benefits will be apparent to yourself and those around you.

However, be ready to plan the next goal because it is an on-going quest. No matter where you are at in your pursuit of good health and fitness – Raise the bar – push yourself towards a new destination.
