Hire a Trainer

DIVA TIP #5:

A step in the right direction would be to hire a Personal Trainer who is skilled at teaching and motivating you in your effort to lose weight, get healthy and have firmer, shapelier muscles. An expert can help you attain that great looking, fabulously fit, and healthy body you’ve been striving for by creating workout programs that meet your goals and teach you the best way to exercise.

Before you commit your precious time and part with your hard earned money, you’ll want to do some research. Get a referral from a satisfied 'divalicious' client. Check the credentials of your prospective fitness coach; you are looking for a person who is educated and certified through a reputable fitness organization such as ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Counsel on Exercise, and AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) to name a few.

Your coach must be able to assess your fitness level and set up a program for you and keep you motivated and challenged, because girl friend, if you had your druthers you would not perform those last two repetitions. Another good idea would be to arrange to have a trial session to see if she (or he) can demonstrate a genuine interest in you, what you want to accomplish, and that the two of you are compatible.

Now that you have your background information about hiring a Personal Trainer, continue here for Diva Tip #6.
